The Valleylab Force FX is a digital electrosurgical unit that displays power and is very flexible in terms of cautery and procedure capabilities. The Force FX™ with Instant Response™ technology provides surgeons with improved performance at lower power settings, minimizing the risk of tissue damage and neuromuscular stimulation, and decreasing the need to “turn up the generator.” The Force FX™ generator adjusts automatically, responding to tissue changes, maintaining power delivery, and minimizing drag. Added Safety and Reliability Minimizes Electrosurgical Risks. Capacitive coupling is reduced by 30-50% when using Instant Response™ technology. This reduction is achieved by limiting the RMS voltage and the high frequency harmonics. Lower voltage means less neuromuscular stimulation and more precise delivery of energy to reduce collateral damage.

NOTES:
(1) This unit performs Bi-polar and Monopolar proceedures. With MONOPOLAR proceedures (Cut / Coag), the folowing items accessories are needed:
a) Disposable grounding pad, whereas the patient is grounded with a disposable foil pad applied to leg or back).
b) An electrosurgical pencil with cable (usually disposable). Most disposable pencils have a CUT / COAG button on the pencil (does not require a footswitch). Some pencils do not have the buttons and would require a footswitch. However, some clinicians prefer using the footswitch.
c) Footswitch (optional - see note 2). GTS SKU: 139-021R
(2) With BIPOLAR proceedures (whereas energy is between forceps), the following accesories are needed:
a) Bipolar forceps (reusable)
b) Forceps cable (reusable)
c) Bipolar footswitch
